The process for recording was simpler. Used a sm58 and an h5 for recording.
The idea of metronome was good but when I tried simply adding a metronome recording it did sound odd. The reverb of my room and extra added reverb were better and supported the concept of beginning the audio with different reverb room and songs played at local places.
As a reflection, I should have carried an h5 for recording field recordings but it was good to try to bring the rawness and scratching noise while recording using a phone
